Stage 10b: Shrewsbury to Haughmond

Severn Trent Water will be doing investigation works relating to Shrewsbury's waste water improvements from 5 July-25 August. It will be necessary to close the footpath from The Weir in Sydney Avenue through to Victoria Avenue near Welsh Bridge in three phases between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00. Signed diversions will be in place when the path is closed. The path will be open outside these hours. See below for more details.

Phase 1: 5-10 July 2026 Path between The Weir and Castle Walk

Phase 2: 5 July-18 August 2026 Path between Castle Walk and Greyfriars Bridge

Phase 3: 11-25 August 2026 Path from Greyfriars Bridge to Victoria Avenue

If you are starting the Northern section from Shrewsbury, this stage takes you to Haughmond Abbey from where you begin the anticlockwise route. The downloads are the same as for the end of the Southern section.
